Announcing our Project

We have a tremendous children's ministry here in Croatia. We work with around 100 kids every week from 2 different Gypsy villages. The Lord has burdened our heart to make Christmas special for them this year. I know Christmas is not about the gifts, but what an opportunity to show them we care and touch the hearts of the families by reaching out. These kids don't just need a toy, but warm hats and gloves, as well as a Christmas dinner. I want to ask you to please consider this a special project this season. If we can get everyone involved to do just a little we can have a great impact on these families, and chance to get into the homes and share the love of Christ and the true meaning of Christmas.


We are implementing an" Adopt-a-child" idea. Please consider donating to purchase gifts for a child ....or 10 children! For around $20 we can buy 1 child a pair of gloves, a winter hat and scarf, warm socks, toiletries (such as toothbrush, soap, toothpaste, shampoo, hair bands), crayons, 1-2 small toys/play items and a chocolate bar. It doesn't sound like much, but for most of these children it will be the only gifts they receive.


We would like to also present the families with the food items necessary to prepare a meal. A small chicken, rice or potatoes, a can of vegetables and a loaf of bread. We can supply the food to feed a family for around $12.


PayPal makes it easy for you to donate using Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and even eChecks. If you prefer to donate by check, make your check out to Faith Baptist Church. In the memo line write, “Christmas in Croatia” and mail your check to: Faith Baptist Church, PO BOX 1536, Aransas Pass, TX 78335. 
If you want to donate to specifically purchase gifts for one or more children send your check for $20 for one child, $40 for 2, etc. and write “Adopt-A-Child” in the memo. If you want to designate your gift to feed families then write “Christmas Meals” on the memo line and we will honor your wishes and your donation will go to that specific purpose. Donations marked “Christmas in Croatia” will be used for both meals and gifts!
